Home.
I can’t get enough from nature. What I call home; It’s more than just a place. It’s the region. The people. The animals, certain trees. Pathways, secrets. Time is a dimension, right? Feels like it sometimes.
Wandering through home, I like to imagine how my ancestors walked the same paths. Breathed in the same air. Had the same mountain view. Loved the same love.

And yet, it’s all fading away. Words. Our traditions, our love for nature. For ourselves. For our ancestors.

I wish I could talk to my great-great-great mother now.
What would we even talk about? I’d try to learn her secrets in the kitchen. What to do when you got “a worm in the gut”. Where the best place is to find true calmness. How to meet your soulmates. How to be happy.

I want to preserve. The recipes, the knowledge. The love. And share it.
Laugh about it. Spread the warmth.
Someday I’ll be gone too. What’ll I leave behind?
